But there comes a point where the neediness just leaves you feeling guilty – have you got to that point yet? My Labrador Fudge can NEVER get enough petting, and even when I’m giving her heaps of attention, I can see that her enjoyment is spoiled by her worrying that I’m going to stop any second now. And then, when I do, she droops away and I feel bad.
Sometimes I think we should have called her Fugue.
I get the same attention from my little white mutt, and I swear sometimes it’s the saving grace of the day.
Your babygirl is just beautiful, as I’ve said before. Awesome that you “rescued” her, isn’t it? You done good.

My 6’2″ 15-year-old occasionally parks himself on my lap when I’m at the computer desk, the better to read his webcomics, my dear. Fortunately he’s really thin so it doesn’t break my knees. I get the biggest kick out of my teenagers plopping on my lap. At least they still like me.
Awww…how adorable! My lap full of lab is about 80 pounds of pure love and joy ~ it also puts my legs to sleep every time…but I wouldn’t trade her for the world!
Boy, I could use a lapful of that today. Sigh. It gets better right?

This is something I am quite grateful for, too – my 2 pups and their unwavering, unconditional love with a side of cuddling.
My lap tends to get filled these days too, only my lapful purrs at me. That unconditional love is truly something wonderful!
There is absolutely, nothing like it.
Look at her pretty, shiny coat!
Fur, eyes, tongue and love. Recipe for a dog. I think whoever made yours doubled up on some of the ingredients!

There is something very, very special about that loving welcome from a dog!

AWWWW! My Babies are too big for my lap, but they join me on the bed and curl up against me.

Upsidedown Dogs are my very favorite kind. :-)
(Slowly catching up! Love having a break from the world for the holidays, but catching up always kills me!)
