And in other news

There’s a little game on television that people in my area seem to be quite passionate about. I’m watching it, you know, because I don’t want to be arrested or anything. But my level of involvement could best be classified as “Foothuh?” at the moment.

My desktop computer is FIXED. And the angels rejoiced, etc. This miraculous event comes on the heels of my having procured a replacement, of course. Whoops. I guess the kids are getting their own computer.

The laundry is done, the bills are paid, the trash is out, the groceries are put away, the house is tidy. Heading off to my first day of work or leaving on vacation for a month? I may have gotten a wee bit confused….

And the most important thing:

(On the way home in the car this evening.)

Chickadee: Star light, star bright, a hundred stars I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have these wishes I wish tonight. I wish for a billion MORE wishes! HA!
Monkey: I don’t know how to say that one.
Chickadee: Sure you do. I’ll help you. Star light–
Monkey: Star light!
Chickadee: Star bright–
Monkey: Star bright!
Chickadee: A hundred stars I see tonight.
Monkey: I don’t see a hundred.
Chickadee: Just say it.
Monkey: A hundredish stars I see tonight.
Chickadee: I wish I may–
Monkey: Okay I got it. I wish I may, I wish I might, have my wish I wish tonight!
Chickadee: Now make a wish!
Monkey: I would wish for a chocolate cupcake. Oh! I already had a chocolate cupcake. I don’t need my wish, Chickie. You can have it.

Monkey is blessed to find contentment with what he has been provided. Smart kid, knowing when he’s got it good!

    Sweeeeeet.

Give an extra cookie to the doghorse, you owe it all to him (and the boots). Good luck.
