I’m gonna fight the lawn…

… and you’ll have to check back later to see if the lawn wins.

Leaves and pine needles are trembling with anticipation and fear! Oh… wait… that’s laughter. Dammit.

Good luck! I forget what state you live in but here in Ohio everything is soggy wet and yuck.

Checking in from work (again) as I haven’t had time to do so since Tuesday. I’m sorry to hear about Wednesday, I hope your psyche is on the road to recovery.

Use the firebreathing on the leaves and the laughter will turn to fear. (cue the reference to Apocalypse Now, “I love the smell of scared burning leaves in the morning…..”)

Yard work can be good therapy. Focusing your energy on a task that shows immediate positive feedback (acres of leaf free ground)provides satisfaction for a job (temporarily) well done. Enjoy.

That’s the old Sonny Curtis song, isn’t it?

I fought the lawn, and the lawn won…
