The background: We have two soccer coaches, one of whom is a friend of mine. She happens to have pneumonia (!!) this week, and so missed practice and will likely miss tomorrow’s game.
Chickadee was on the phone with her father tonight, and he must have said something about seeing this friend/coach at soccer tomorrow.
Chickadee: No, she won’t be there, Daddy. She has amnesia.
oh so worth it. Thank Chickie for the smile
Yup. Soap characters and soccer coaches are always the ones catching that damned amnesia, so what (as I am neither) is my excuse?
Too funny! I hope your friend feels better soon! Our soccer game today is canceled because of rain. Yuck!
I don’t know which is worse…amnesia or pneumonia.
if she didn’t have pneumonia already, she’d have it now after playing in the cold rain for an hour. ugh. We’re still shivvering.
Hope your friend feels better soon, and doesn’t end up with amnesia too!
Funny! Hey, Mir–I had a dream last night that Otto proposed to you in front of all of us (you were standing together, but it somehow appeared on the computer screen) and you were so put on the spot that you told him you’d have to think about it. Otto–beware! Don’t propose on the internet–haha. Weird, huh?!
Pneumonia is waaaay more fun.
..there’s the coughing and the wheezing and the messing your pants. You can’t have that kind of fun with simple amnesia..noo sir
*coughcoughcoughcough*
..damn…gotta change again
Well, it is easier to remember how to spell amnesia.
The other day, my oldest says “you can’t seem me mom…I have amnesia.” to which I say “you mean, you’re invisible?” and he says, “I dunno the right word…I have amNESIA, remember?”
Dang these kids…HA
