My first best friend

It’s Tuesday, and that means I’m over at Off Our Chests today.

Friendships come and go, but today I’m telling you about one of the best friends I ever had. Back then, I didn’t have a lot of friends, so she really meant the world to me.

(Oh, who am I kidding? I don’t have a lot of friends now, either. But I like to think I’m more well-adjusted than I used to be, regardless. Hush.)

Hey I don’t have any friends either. Oh, the life of a life coach.

I sometimes wonder how many of us really do have “a lot” of friends. I spend more time than I should thinking about that one. : ) But ultimately I’m happy so I guess it doesn’t really matter.

Having a handful of really good friends is better than having lots of mediocre friends. I think old friends are the best!

I have a book I’d love to send you. I’ve never read the Little House series, but someone thought that I’d love this book with rediscovered writings and whatnot. _Little House in the Ozarks_ Edited by Stephen W Hines.

If that’s not too creepy. lol

Laura was my imaginary friend too! Her whole family were my imaginary friends. I used to sit and pretend to knit with Ma and Laura and Mary, using pencils as knitting needles. But I never told anyone what I was doing, either.
