I feel the need to share this with all of you, since you were SO CONCERNED about my feet, taste and/or spending habits, earlier.
How do these grab you?
Does your answer change if I tell you that…
… Zappos has them for $123.95 but I got them for $49.99?
… or that I cashed in my Discover Cashback Bonus so, theoretically, they didn’t cost me anything?
Face it; I totally win at shopping.

Oooh, pretty! Very, very smart. (And don’t you love shopping math?? I think they should teach it in school.)

Yeah, well, …they wouldn’t fit me, anyway.
Nyah nyah.

I bow at the feet of the Ultimate Shopper. I have much to learn from you, Master. Starting with…it’s Christmas shopping time and you are able to buy things for YOURSELF because you sre finished with everyone else. Impressive. *I’m not worthy!*

Oh, you so rock, Mir! I need some shopping tutorials, I’m afraid. I have not had that kind of luck at all lately.

Lovely! I’m wearing brown Naturalizer boots as I type and they are the super duper comfiest, as well as being stylish and fairly easy on the pocketbook.

I bow before you Queen of all bargain shoppers.
Now, where did you find them for $49.99, or is it a big secret?

*gasp*
Oh dear me, I love them.
(checks balance on credit card)
Would you mind if we owned the same boots? What if I called you and asked you to wear them the same day I did?
Huh?
Mir?
Hello?

I didn’t comment on the woven ones. I’m afraid of being sent to Posey Jam Island. PJI sounds very scary. But I will comment on these boots because I like these. I would like these even if you’d paid the Zappo’s price or bought them with real money. But the discount/ cashback bonus combo thing? Extra nice!

I held my tongue about the rattan boots, but those are cute.

Well, I don’t know jack about footwear, but…love. :D And congrats on your non-spending!

And ALSO, if you do step two of Shopping Math, where you divide the price of the item by the number of times you wear it, thus justifying, say, a pair of Seven jeans like I did, then these boots are like……NEGATIVE TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS! Time for more shopping, I’d say.

These are MUCHHHHHH better than the other boots. Those just weren’t right. I often wonder if I’m really a girl……… I don’t get the whole shoe obsession thing.
November 10th, 2005 at 9:18 am
You win! Cute and — because they’re Naturalizer — probably very comfy too.

Oh my! Those boots grab me with a very gentle and tender caress in a very private place. LOOOOVE!

Homer Formby looses another to Zappos.
Not enough heel to be FMB’s but very nice.

I loved the other boots, the lovely woven ones, I seriously considered getting them! People don’t realize that they are under pants and therefore only an accessory and can’t really be seen. I love them! I really like the new ones too, they just aren’t as funky.
sigh.

I totally hate you, because my giant stupid dog actually ATE my awesome brown Naturalizers (that I bought with an employee discount), but you chose very gorgeous boots and have my permission (which I know you craved) to own them and enjoy them utterly.

You are the Shopping Goddess! We bow before you and give you offerings and beg your intercession as we dream of your perfection.
And you’re very pretty, too.

Those are nice…I’m jealous! I just ordered about four pairs of boots online today. I love sandals in summer and boots in the fall. I couldn’t wait for the weather to cool enough to wear my boots.

we likey these!

Um, I know this isn’t in the spirit of how it was intended, but when I look at those boots it triggers the fantasy of the wearer, wearing the boots, and nothing else.
Is that wrong? lol
